We have eaten here many times years ago. Whenever we are going to SF, we have to eat here. Because the Hongkong style fried porkchop is just so good, I dont wanna miss it. Remember though: cash only and to go.

This is a well kept hidden gem in the excelsior for cheap Filipino food. When I walked in, the place looked like a run down joint, but I saw the old lady serving as the cashier, and the chefs being elderly senior citizens. It breaks my heart to see elderly people still having to work, and I really urge people to support this place so they can afford more renovations and so one day the elderly staff can retire. Besides that, the service was very friendly and straightforward. (Cash only!) Most of the meals are Filipino breakfast style silog meals, and they mostly serve Filipino proteins, but they also have fried chicken and popcorn chicken. The meals consist of garlic rice, egg, tomato chunks or pineapple chunks, and your choice of a protein. I got the spamsilog (6.50 as of 2026), (without any tomato or pineapple), and it came out delicious. It was simple, and so classic it just tasted right and comforting. A humble meal, with a generous portion, without lacking flavor. My only complaint about the food is the fried garlic pieces on top of the garlic fried rice. It usually comes out kind of burnt, and the burnt garlic pieces taste bitter and burnt. But you can easily just scoop out

This place has always been my go-to place for cheap eats throughout these years and it never disappoint. The in dining never came back tho, but the food is still the best. For the price me and my husband got dinner as well. The place is not the most appealing thing but just come with an open mind and hungry stomach. Make sure to bring cash as its a Cash Only place.

This is a great value restaurant, everything is cheap here. The food is good and greasy. Not sure there’s anything healthy here😂. Parking in the area is PIA, they seemed to be mostly busy but the line and order is fast. I liked the filipino pork chop more than the Hong Kong fried pork chops.

Since my last review, we had a moment where we went here almost every Saturday, even when I'd get off of work early. We've tapered off a little. We didn't want to get sick of it. The food has always been consistent. The only change now is they don't give as much rice. They used to top it off where you needed double the meat. Price has gone up by .50 because of egg price increase. My go to now is HK Style porkchop, longanisa, and lumpia shanghai. Don't forget cash only!. This place has been around for a long time. I started going here when I was in high school, which was a little while ago. This place isn't the fanciest but simple.. kinda run down now. It's been a while since I've been here. But they do still have one of the cheapest silog breakfasts that you can still get for about $5 -6. Very hard to find nowadays. Think with Mcd you easily spend $10 for a breakfast meal. They are always busy and easily run out of certain items in the morning. Food to me was mediocre, but it gets the job done. I haven't tried the HK style pork chop in a while, so I might go back to try that. This time we go the usual staples: longanisa, tocino, and tapa
